Aadhaar Authentication
The term Aadhaar authentication stands for a stateless service with Server and Client authentication over HTTPs. That means Aadhar authentication API enables any computer or micro- ATM, mobile phone or any other device is able to do communication along with PoS systems over GPRS, broadband and related channels.
Aadhar authentication API plays a very crucial role in meeting security requirements at every end and shuns similar attacks by encrypting data. Thus, Aadhar authentication API makes any channel secured but for the same, one has to register the AUAs and share its public key with the UIDAI.
Benefits of Aadhar authentication API
The benefits of Aadhar authentication API are listed below:
- Unique Identity: The duplication of Aadhaar number is not possible owing to its unique nature. Residents have their Aadhaar authentication linked to biometrics and thus leakage of any kind that happens because of false identity is just not possible.
- Portability: UIDAI can be contacted from all over India to check the identity of a beneficiary by any service or agencies.
- Identity for All: Many times, the poor residents or the marginalized people do not hold their identification documents. Aadhaar authentication under the Introducer state benefit, allows such residents also to have an identification proof, which is verified and approved by UIDAI itself.
- E- Banking Advantages: One can enjoy secure benefits of electronic transfer using Aadhaar authentication as the heavy cost that one has to pay is highly reduced with such beneficiary distributions.
- Online Aadhaar authentication: Online services are offered to those residents who want to validate their identities. This service is offered by UIDAI that will confirm the entitlement by meeting the requirements of the beneficiary.
Access to State-of-the-art Information: it is highly possible to access latest information and data using Aadhaar authentication. These information can cover areas like demanding services, entitlement data and addressing complaints using the cell phone etc. One can be sure of security when it comes to self-service on cell phones. This is provided by knowing about the Aadhaar Pin number of the resident and thus establishing ownership over the mobile number that is registered with UIDAI. |
